EDUCATION
With a particular specialism in education sector development, RP has successfully obtained planning permission for a variety of school and college related proposals since the company began.
In total, RP has secured planning permission for over 6,000 new student places within the UK education sector within primary, secondary and academy schools and colleges. In addition, it’s secured permission for the creation of over 700 specialised student spaces for Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, 8 new sports halls and well over 100,000m2 in new outdoor school playing field provision.
Projects include obtaining permission for: the first new grammar annexe in the country for over 50 years within a sensitive green belt site — the extension of a grade II listed high school in Hammersmith located in a conservation area — the extension of a grade II* listed primary school in Westminster — the erection of a new primary school in Luton adjacent to a sensitive river setting — the extension of a college in Redbridge located next to a conservation area.

The RP team has completed a number of residential projects within the Northamptonshire area and further afield. RP work with a number of architects across the country to help realise the full and appropriate development potential of sites.
RP continues to expand its relationship with local landowners and property developers to help unlock the development potential of land and buildings. RP has a strong knowledge of local adopted and emerging policy frameworks and continues to build practical relationships with planning officers from a number of local authorities.
Projects include obtaining permission for: 100 new residential units on a protected Northamptonshire employment site involving a review of the 5 year land supply — a new housing scheme in Daventry that was originally refused but overturned following an appeal by RP — 20 new houses on a brownfield site in Wellingborough — 100 new affordable homes on a site in Northamptonshire — change of use of dentist surgery into a single dwelling in Northampton.

RP has built a strong presence within the commercial sector working alongside and on behalf of a number of businesses, landowners, commercial agents and investors.
